In discussions concerning translation and features of translators, creativity of translators is one of the characteristics which is usually ignored and/or taken for granted. Even if mentioned, this characteristic is usually attributed to translators rendering literary translation. The present paper is aimed at dealing with creativity in a rather wider scope, so as to find out, whether or not this characteristic is peculiar to translators of literary translations, or it may be attributed to other translators too.
