There is an relationship between Hafez poems and Quran. This relationship is not limited to literal and semantic aspects. Going beyond these links, it also includes method of expression and linguistic structure. The present article attempts to explore traces and signs of linguistic structure and rhetoric of holy Quran in the form and structure of Hafez lyrics. The main issues discussed here consist of the frame of discourse, method of expression, variety of topics in horizontal axis, multiplicity in meaning aspects, images of life, and harmony in letters and tone of expression, arrangement of opposite elements viz-versa. Quran and Hafez discourse, expression image making in Hafez poems such as simile, metaphor, allegory, parables drawing on Quranic verses.
