Hadj literally means intention . It has practically come to mean to intend to pay pilgrimage to Kaa ba in order to observe pilgrimage ceremonies. For this reason, in religious works and reports pilgrims are referred to as guests of the Almighty . From the viewpoint of mysticism, pilgrimage is paid to receive a foretaste of the divine loved one . Accordingly, this ceremony is an excuse to get closer to the owner of the Kaa ba. If not so, the whole ceremony will prove but futile. Consequently, the Hadj ceremony for the mystic is as splendid as spring, blosseming flowers, singing birds and so on. Hence, attainment of such ultimate objective is treasured eagerly.
