Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the cultural effect of Ottoman’s Mashrooteh Revolution (1908 A.D) along with the effect of Iran’s Mashrooteh Revolution (1906 A.D) on central Asia which seems to share common historical features with the two mentioned countries, with respect to religious, national and linguistic aspects. The study revealed that Iran and Ottoman, which faced western civilization and modernity in a non-colonial context, had a significant effect on counter-cultural areas in central Asian countries which by then had turned into Russia’s colonies. This effect was quite noticeable and unique in the forming of modern Persian literature in the pre- mentioned region.
