Aims and Scope
The Journal of Literary Text Research (Lit Text Res), established in 1997, is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly journal, owned, managed & published by Allameh Tabataba’i University. The journal is devoted to the systematic analysis of literary texts through established and emerging critical methodologies. The journal focuses on text-centered research that advances theoretical, analytical, and interpretive understanding of literary works, with primary emphasis on Persian literature across classical, modern, and contemporary periods.
Aims
The journal aims to publish original research that demonstrates methodological rigor, analytical depth, and clear scholarly contribution to the field of literary studies. Submissions should engage explicitly with literary theory, textual criticism, or interpretive frameworks and move beyond descriptive or historical summary.
Scope
The journal publishes scholarly articles in the fields of Comparative Literature, Interdisciplinary Critical Studies, Computational Linguistics, Stylistic Analysis, Iranian Studies, Discourse Analysis, Critical Discourse Analysis, and studies of Language, Text, and Culture, as well as Text and Identity within the broader domain of Persian Literary Studies. Literary Text Research publishes articles primarily in Persian in order to support scholarly communication within the core research community of Persian literary studies. To ensure international discoverability and integration into global research databases, all articles include English titles, structured abstracts, and keywords. The journal seeks to contribute to academic publishing standards by providing high-quality, peer-reviewed, text-based literary scholarship that reflects regional literary traditions while remaining methodologically aligned with international standards of literary research.
