Historical texts are one of the invaluable treasures of Persian literature. These works are, indeed, our predecessors' heritage. In addition to pro• viding us with information regarding Historical events, these books also display writing methods of the past, as well as the linguistic features of the texts written in ancient times. Remaining from the 8th century A.H., Masoud Nikpey's History is a great literary heritage, providing the history of human creation up to the period of Chengiz Khan. The manuscript of this work is now being edited.
