The aim of this article is to demonstrate that with the advent of Islam, many scholars grew out of the light of the Holy Qur'an. Many valuable works were produced m different scientific branches, including literary genres like epic, mystical, didactic and lyrical poetry, but after the constitutional period, Persian literature came under the influence of western thoughts and consequently became divorced Qur'anic themes.
