In recent decades, i11 most cases information transfer depends on �flicie11t translation. However, most of tire rendered materials are incomprehensible and this is due to many factors such as deficiencies in tire translator "background knowledge qf' syntax, semantics, or pragmatics. Ignoring. each if' these factors may distort tire meaning ,4· the original text. Therefore, if' translation studies focus 011 these elements, much more realistic results would he achieved.
