Oppositeness of meaning is one the different semantic relations discussed in semantics. The article reviews the previous influential scholarship on this topic and suggests its definition and classification . It is shown, then ,how it can be classified in Persina. This semantic relation is classified under two general classes: "Binary" and "Non binary" opposition in which each one can be divided into some subclasses. Binary opposition includes only a pair of words but the other one involves a string of opposite words.
