Examining the Similarities of Three Narratives "Siavash", "Hasanak Vazir", "Lion and Cow" from the Perspective of structuralism

Abstract

This article aims to show that the three narratives, including Siavash (from the Shahnameh), Hasanak Vazir (from Tarikh Beyhaqi), and Lion and Cow (from the Kelileh and Demneh) are each the criterion of their time and culture, despite the differences in language, setting, and atmosphere. However, in terms of construction, all are formed around the same concept. This same concept is nothing but the jealousy and conspiracy of the negative heroes in these narratives, i.e. Garsivaz, Bushal, Demneh, and accepting the provoke from Afrasiab, Massoud, Lion, and finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow. finally killed by the positive heroes, i.e Siavash, Hasanak and Cow.
