It emphasizes the unity of form and content, relating every single work to the worldview each social class holds, in an attempt to discover the relationship between the internal structure of a work and the thought structure belonging to its author’s social class. In a nutshell, genetic structuralism historical behaviors and tangible significances affected by the author’s social class in their emotional and intellectual life. In this approach, therefore, the content of a literary work is examined rather than being described. The present research uses library study in an analytical fashion based on the above theory to examine the effects of Mohammad Ravandi’s Rahat-o-Sodour and Ayat-o-Sorour focusing on a question as follows: Have historical and social conditions and requirements influenced the author’s emotional and intellectual dimensions, and is the effects observable within the works structures? Generally, the findings show that Ravandi was influenced by the discourses of Seljuk times and his work is a framework building upon the thought and behavior system of that era.
