Abstract

Olfati Ibn-e- Hosseini Savaji is a Shiite poet of the 11th century AH in the court of Abdullah Qutbshah, who wrote poems in his praise and wrote two books for him, "Riyadh al-Sana'i Qutbshahi" and "Fragrances of Golshan Qutbshahi". Most biographers have considered the Ravayeh-e- Golshan-e- Qutbshahi to be from Olfati Yazdi, while according to historical evidence and style, it is from the works of Olfati Savaji and its attribution to Olfati Yazdi is incorrect. Ravayeh-e- Golshan is a short book containing an introduction and seven sections and a conclusion, which was written in 1051 with the prose mixed with poetry in the style of artificial and technical texts describing Abdullah Qutbshah and introducing the royal palaces and famous celebrations and beauties of Hyderabad. Olfati has focused his efforts on the phonetic balance of the text and the rhythm of the sentences. Therefore, using embellishments such as riming process and pun in the whole effect is impressive.
