Transformational Analysis of (Abqir wa Se Mahi)’s Anecdote in Masnavi

Abstract

Moulana recreates the anecdote of "Abgir wa Se Mahi" of Kalila and Demna in Masnavi to express mystical points. Investigating the metamorphic process of this anecdote in Masnavi, Maulana’s trick to turn its limited themes into broad mystical concepts and the quality of creating a new structure, the main purpose of this study is. This article critiques the reasons in a descriptive-analytical way that according to this, Maulana calls the anecdote of Kalila "the cortex" and his story "the brain". The findings show: Maulana, using Quranic themes, hadiths, the words of the Sufi and the inclusion of proverbs and rulings instill in the audience concepts inspired by their mystical experiences in the general of the story and by resorting to a kind of rhetoric, in interpreting the thoughts and actions of the three main characters of the story, he emphasizes understanding the inner secrets and understanding the points and codes and in referring to fictional adventures through the persuasive-persuasive function of his messages, he expands mystical discussions and when quoting intermediate stories in the form of various allegories and using the extensive capabilities of the language of mysticism, expands the theme of the story to the audience's perception and in expressing content based on the two categories of wisdom and purpose, its all-encompassing and sublime symbols it is based on symbolic perceptions based on intuitive knowledge to make the story of Masnavi, while maintaining the apparent similarity of the narration, in a context different from anecdote of Kalila.
