Abstract

In several Middle Iranian texts, we read that Zab pierced Afrasiab and restored water and borders. that the same shooting of Afrasiab and his burning (not shooting to one side of the ground) in some new Persian texts to Arash Attributed. Is it possible that the story of Arash and the story of the kingdom of Zab are two expressions of one myth that is sometimes attributed to Arash and sometimes to Zab by transferring the attribution in the longitudinal series of causes and effects? Shahnameh Researchers have thought of several reasons to justify the absence of Arash's story in Ferdowsi Shahnameh. What it has discussed in this article is the question and suggestion of whether it is possible that the story of Arash The archer with the face turned, in the lower layer and the form of another narration in the Shahnameh and quoted? ?In other words, in studying a myth, instead of searching for the name of the hero, one should follow his works, and as is common in mythological critique and narrative,. In other words, the reign of Zab Tahmaseb and the story of Arash are both narrations of an older Indo-European myth according to which the god of light, rains, and crosses borders. This longitudinal transfer of attribution and "patrol of myth" between Arash and Zab has occurred more clearly in several Middle Persian and New Persian sources and has a similar background.
