Abstract

Einolghozzat Hamedani discusses about obligatory (vajeb) and recommended (mostahab) deeds in his sixty fifth letter. He believes that recommended deeds are those that we can avoid doing them, but it would be recommended to do them. In this regard, he provides different examples, such as using Arabic poetry in the texts. According to him, although one can write a letter without using Arabic poetry, it would be much preferred to use it. This is called a recommended deed in Islamic law. Einolghozzat himself has applied this method in the best possible form in his writings. In this paper, attempts have been made to translate, analyze and interpret the Arabic poems referred to by him. In addition, the sources of these poems have also been mentioned.
