The influence of the aspects of Iranian civilisation and culture in the Sassanides era on the civilisation and culture of Islamic governments, is an undeniable fact. However, this influence is strongly manifested in the six hundred-year old reign of Abbassides. The present paper is intended to deal with cultural interactions, as well as policies , ruling systems and customs of the Abbassides royal court.
