Literary Text Research is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Allameh Tabataba’i University, the leading university in the Humanities and Social Sciences in Iran. Literary Text Research has been established to provide an intellectual forum for researchers and scholars worldwide to share their latest findings on issues related to Persian literary studies. The journal is committed to publishing original research papers of highest quality with an international academic appeal. It aspires to support and expand scholarship in Persian literature and to give researchers an opportunity to enter into an academic dialogue with each other around the world in order to advance knowledge in the field.

Literary Text Research is published in collaboration with the Iranian Society for the Promotion of Persian Language and Literature.

Established in March 1997, this journal was formerly published as Zabân-o-Adab (Language and Literature Quarterly). In June 2011 (Vol. 48), it changed its name to Literary Text Research (LTR).

The journal is published both in print and online.

 

This journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Article Retention and Archiving Policy

Literary Text Research understands the concerns of authors, readers, librarians, and others about the need for long-term preservation and access to scholarly research as the world of publishing continues to digitalization. Our policy directly and honestly addresses the archival issue of long-term retention with access.

Literary Text Research is committed to archiving (meaning long-term preservation) and providing access to scientific research material published electronically in the journal Literary Text Research. This policy statement specifies the extent of the journal’s archival commitment and the relevant procedures for fulfilling this commitment. Literary Text Research will serve as an archive for all electronic content published by the journal. The content of the archive will include all issues and editions of this journal with online access. The original content of the published material will never change but may be supplemented by annotations or additional information due to the occurrence of errors and the need to correct content, references, and other parts that undergo changes after the original publication.

For the efficient and safe use of the online service, Literary Text Research undertakes to prepare and keep copies of the electronic archive of the journal in order to preserve information. Replicas are used to enable rapid delivery of content to consumers, while secure replicas are kept as backup copies. Literary Text Research is committed to the periodic renewal of these reproductions. At least one secure duplicate copy is kept in a separate location away from the editorial office of the journal in Tehran, Iran.
